What to Expect

You're not a stranger for long in our Kaneohe chiropractic office!

If you’ve ever gone to a social event where you didn’t know anyone, you know how uncomfortable that can make you feel.  Our goal is to eliminate every shred of apprehension and make you feel at home.

Since chiropractic care involves a series of visits, with each one building on the ones before, it’s important that our relationship can go the distance. We’ve found that one of the best ways to have successful patient relationships is to explain everything in advance. No surprises!

The more you understand who we are, what we do and why we do it, the better results you’ll enjoy. It’s as simple as that.

So, check us out here. Poke around. Get to know us. Then, contact us to make an appointment so we can get to know you.

First Visit

On your first visit to our office, you will fill out some very brief paper to tell us about yourself. You will then be shown a short video on what to expect on your first visit. You will then consult with the doctor to tell him of your health concerns. At that time he will perform an exam which may require x-rays. This whole process takes about 30 minutes.

Second Visit

On your second visit, the doctor will go over your exam results. If he accepts your case, he will schedule another appointment to give you his recommendations for correction. This takes about 15-20 minutes.

Typical Visit

On a typical office visit you sign in as you enter and my staff will hand you your "travel card" or patient chart. This provides the doctor with all the information he needs to adjust you properly. You then are called to the adjusting table to receive your adjustment. This takes about 5 minutes. As with all your visits to our office, parking validation is provided at no cost.

Dr. Chip Asks some important questions of interest to Kaneohe residents - Chiropractor Kaneohe Dr. Chip Asks...

What's the difference between a "good" drug and a "bad" drug?
As a chiropractor, I see the use of many drugs (legal or illegal) as merely symptom treating. Worse, virtually every drug produces unwanted effects. The effects of chiropractic are largely positive effects. If you're a Kaneohe parent, consider carefully before giving your child a cough medication, cold remedy or pain reliever so this sort of question doesn't arise in the first place.
Why do so many drugs require a prescription?
Because they can be dangerous? I chose a chiropractic career specifically because it avoids artificial means of pain relief. Our Kaneohe chiropractic practice attracts health-conscious families that prefer a safe and natural solution. Ready to get started? Call our office today.
